Located in Caroline, Alberta and serving the Central Alberta region, Stable Minds was created to support individuals, youth, families, and organizations in developing the skills and strength needed to move forward with confidence. Through a combination of professional Counselling services and Equine Assisted Programs, our goal is to provide practical, meaningful support that helps people build stronger minds and become capable contributors within their communities. Whether someone is seeking personal support, skill development, or leadership growth, we are excited to offer opportunities that meet people where they are and help them continue moving forward.

Counselling for Youth,

Young Adults and Families

Our counselling services are designed for youth and young adults up to the age of 24 who may be navigating challenges such as school struggles, emotional regulation, trauma, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), justice involvement, or other complex life situations. Led by a Certified Child and Youth Care Counsellor with extensive frontline experience, counselling focuses on building understanding, developing practical strategies, and supporting youth and families as they work toward stability and positive change. The goal is not simply to address challenges, but to help young people build the tools and confidence needed to move forward in their lives and communities.

Equine Assisted Programs

Our Equine Assisted programs offer structured, hands-on opportunities for individuals, youth, and organizations to develop leadership, communication, accountability, and personal development skills through guided interaction with horses. Programs are designed with clear objectives and are facilitated in a way that encourages participants to practice real-world skills in a unique and engaging environment. From youth development programs to leadership intensives for teams and organizations, these programs focus on strengthening the practical skills that support success in school, work, and community life.

BILLING

Stable Minds offers direct billing for many extended health benefit providers. Coverage varies depending on your individual insurance plan, so we encourage clients to confirm their benefits with their provider prior to booking. We are also accepting payment through cash or e-transfer
